Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed to source a corporate finance, transaction services, or corporate development professional into the newly created role of Business Development Analyst. Our client is a leading oil and gas operator based in Aberdeen.
The role:
- The Business Development Analyst will be involved in high profile Merger & Acquisition activity and other key strategic initiatives, both in the UK and internationally
- The position will involve a high degree of financial/economic modelling and analysis, together with the preparation of investment support material, and will have a high degree of exposure to the senior leaders in the organisation
- The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their experience and skillset, with the potential to take on increased management/leadership responsibilities in due course

Who are we looking for:
- Qualified accountant, and/or relevant experience in a finance/commercial/ engineering/business role
- Corporate finance / Merger & Acquisition experience beneficial
- Highly numerate problem solver accustomed to using their initiative to find solutions
- With high levels of drive the ideal candidate will be a self-starter that can both take direction and work autonomously
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact at different levels across the organisation
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, ideally with experience in financial modelling
- High degree of commercial acumen and ability to review relevant
