Who we’re looking for:

 

To be considered for this opportunity you will either be a part of fully qualified accountant (ICAS/CIMA/ACCA) with a progressive career path and a proven track record of achievement. You must be highly numerate and analytical with the ability to interpret and present data to clearly communicate trends and messages. In addition, you must have advanced Excel skills as this is critical to the role.

 

You might be working in professional practice and considering your first move into industry. You may be working in industry and seeking to use your numeracy skills in a more commercial setting. Both of these profiles will be considered if you have a real drive and will to succeed, first class IT and systems skills, the ability to see the bigger picture, and a commercial nous.

 

The role:

 

The Commercial Bid Analyst will join our client’s Offshore team. The position is critical in supporting the Global Offshore team in modelling of new and retention bid contracts.

 

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the development of new and retention business pro-forma modelling, and the ongoing contract performance analysis including the development of an appropriate pricing framework.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Building of accurate financial models for new business and current business extensions, incorporating income statement/cash/ ROIC

• Taking review of ITT language and understanding commercial implications to the business in the context of existing operation and improvements that can be made to maximise return

• Work hand-in-hand with legal team to ensure all finance and commercial clauses are appropriately marked and approved

• Ad-hoc analysis of business cost base and existing contracts to highlight opportunities to optimise and model opportunities into new business and extension proposals

• Support financial ‘go-live’ of contracts from tender conversion to operations and in-region finance team

• Remain compliant with business risk profile requirements and be vigilant in highlighting any non-conformances to management – understanding the risk vs. reward make-up for the business’ various geographic segments

• Build relationships with finance and operations teams as well as clients to maximise touch points with prospective and existing clients

• Work closely with Northern Europe commercial finance team to ensure best practice is applied to Global Offshore
