Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed by a leading energy services company in Aberdeen to recruit a recently qualified accountant into the highly operational role of Cost Accountant.

The role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Cost Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that robust cost management procedures are in place, high quality budgets/reforecasts are prepared and that reimbursable costs are recharged to customer in a timely manner.
Due to the nature of this role, the Cost Accountant will enjoy a varied workload with the ability to build relationships across all levels, including the UK Management Team, budget holders and Corporate Finance based in Asia.
The Cost Accountant will build strong cross-functional relationships and provide support to other departments in terms of financial issues.
In addition, due to the nature of our client’s business, you will liaise regularly with the customer and outside vendors.
Who are we looking for:
Our client is keen to attract a newly to two years post qualified accountant. Could suit applicants looking for a first industry role, or industry trained accountants looking for a more operational/value adding role.
