The role:

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance & Admin Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-performing, multi-functional team.

The role will suit an ambitious individual seeking to broaden their commercial and operational experience within a visible and purpose-driven organisation. Working closely with an inspirational leader, this position offers a clear development path to a senior leadership post (Finance Director) in future.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the delivery of finance and business services across the organisation
  • Coordinating the activities of the finance, HR, IT and facilities functions
  • Supporting the senior leadership team in delivering the strategic and business plan
  • Compiling month-end data and preparing draft management accounts
  • Leading, mentoring and developing the finance and business services team
  • Managing supplier relationships, procurement and value-for-money initiatives
  • Overseeing outsourced payroll and ensuring robust credit control processes
  • Driving process improvements and helping streamline internal systems
  • Acting as a customer service champion for both internal and external stakeholders

 

Who we’re looking for:

A highly organised, proactive and numerate individual with strong finance and leadership skills. You’ll have strong Excel skills, experience in people and project management, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Could suit an experienced accountant in practice seeking a highly-progressive move to industry. Also suits applicants currently in industry looking to make a bigger impact in a purpose-led organisation.
