Vero is partnering with a leading company who operate in the food manufacturing industry to recruit a Finance Manager on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract. This represents an unrivalled opportunity for an an experienced, commercially focused accountant to act as a business partner to a range of stakeholders.

The role:
The Finance Manager is responsible for supporting a range of stakeholders, preparing forecasts and budgets, and ad-hoc commercial modelling.
The Finance Manager will assist the teams to understand their costs and revenues, to allow the maximisation of profit, whilst also ensuring that inventory levels are kept in check to best utilise Working Capital.
This role will work closely with the Commercial Director, and Business Development Directors to support their management information requirements, and with Finance colleagues to ensure full understanding, clarity and consistency in results and forecasts presented.
The position is offered on an initial 12 month contract basis, which could lead to a progressive permanent role in future.
Who are we looking for:
The Finance Manager should be available to start at some time during February. The role suits an experienced accountant who is a self-starter, with the ability to problem solve, as well as first class communication skills to build the necessary relationships across the organisation.
