Vero has been exclusively appointed by a global market leading service company to recruit an experienced accountant into the role of Finance Manager, initially on a six month fixed term contract. This could be extended further.

Trace their history back over 40 years when they started to provide a range of services to oil and gas operators. Over the past 45 years our client has grown organically and through strategic acquisitions, broadening their technical capability and diversifying into new sectors.
Today, they deliver a wide range of managed and ad-hoc services to the industrial, offshore energy and renewables sectors.
The opportunity:
To take on a stimulating and challenging senior finance role, managing the finances of our client’s Renewables Business Unit, partnering with the Renewables CEO on a day to day basis.
This represents a unique opportunity to gain practical experience of managing the finances of a leading renewable energy company.
The role:
Working closely with CEO, the CFO and the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager must ensure the maintenance and development of the highest standard of financial control to support both current operations and continued fast paced growth of the Renewables Business Unit.
The Finance Manager will also support the strategic planning in the business and look for continued process improvements to increase efficiency and customer service. The Finance Manager is the main financial focal point for the Monthly Reporting requirements as well as the Monthly Outlook and Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Budgets.
Who are we looking for:
To be considered you will be an experienced, seasoned senior finance professional with the ability to work autonomously. You will be able to hit the ground running quickly, building relationships with key stakeholders across the group.
You should be able to start at reasonably short notice and be committed to seeing out the duration of the six-month contract.
