Role Profile:
Working closely with the Financial Reporting Accountant, Group Accountant, CFO and other members of the finance team, the Finance Manager will ensure the maintenance and development of the highest standard of financial control to support both current operations and continued growth of the enterprise.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation and/or review of Group and individual company annual Statutory Financial Statements against tight reporting deadlines under IFRS and new UK GAAP (FRS 102).
- Assisting in month end close process and preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and review of Interim Management Information submissions as required under listing regulations.
- Assisting in setting and ongoing review/compliance of accounting policies and procedures for the Group
- Support the roll out of enhanced business system tools and business process automation
- Other ad-hoc reporting as required
Person Specification:
- Successful candidate will be fully qualified (ICAS/ACCA)
- Good technical understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Good communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Highly organised and capable of working to tight deadlines
