Vero has been engaged exclusively to recruit a Finance Manager on an interim basis of 12 to 18 months to cover a period of maternity leave. Our client operates in a niche industry sector and they are part of a major international group who are a global market leader in several of their industries.
The finance function locally in Aberdeen is small, with a friendly and close-knit culture, with most of the team having been with the company for an extended period of time due to their culture and working practices.
Who are we looking for?
You must be available to start within the next four to six weeks to allow for a handover, and you will have experience of managing the day to day finances within a small office environment. You will excel at building relationships both within finance and across the wider business. You must have strong IT skills with any experience of Dynamics AX or 365 being advantageous.

To join an industry leading organisation in a hands on Finance Manager role, supporting the Finance Director and his team during a period of maternity leave.
Role Overview:
The Finance Manager’s role is primarily to support the Finance Director for UK & Ireland.
As a member of the management team the successful candidate will be an operationally focused, robust finance professional who can work with and deliver a rigorous control environment, provide insight driven reporting and act as an effective business partner to the operational teams throughout the UK & Ireland.
The Finance Manager will manage a small team locally in addition to a further five member of staff based across other key sites.
Our client is looking to appoint the successful individual on a long term fixed term contract and they are offering a salary around £50,000 per annum plus pension and discretionary bonus.
