The opportunity:

The role:
The Finance Manager will be embedded in one of our client’s service lines, with a core focus on Africa, Caspian and Continental Europe.
Reporting to the VP of International Business Development, with responsibility for statutory and management reporting, tax compliance and interaction with agents and Group personnel.
Overseeing the end-to-end finance operations of the business unit, the Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring effective working capital and cash management/collections, working with overseas agents to improve financial reporting and controls, and management of ad-hoc projects and requests as required.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for producing financial reports and presentations that effectively explain the financial results of the business unit, and allow the developing of strategies based on financial analysis and forward projections.
This represents a unique opportunity for an experienced accountant to work as a finance business partner to a range of senior stakeholders.
Future progression into a senior operationally focused role is likely.
Who are we looking for:
To be considered you should be professionally qualified. Previous international experience is essential, with a particular preference on Africa.
Successful applicant will have commercial and business awareness, first-class attention to detail, and the ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
International travel is on offer.
