Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed by a leading high-growth energy service company in Aberdeen to recruit a Financial Controller on a 12 month contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
To be considered, you should be able to start from mid to late September and be looking to commit to the full 12 month duration. Our client is open to considering applicants looking for either a five or a four day work week.

The role:
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the finance function, ensuring accurate and on-time management reporting, and supporting business performance with insightful business intelligence.
This will include (but is not limited to); managing the month-end process, completing monthly consolidation, regular forecasting, assisting with budget preparation, and overseeing transactional accounting.
The Financial Controller will manage a small team, based locally in Aberdeen and in other locations.
Work in partnership with the Finance Director and other members of the senior leadership team to drive performance.
Who are we looking for:
Applicants should ideally be professionally qualified with extensive experience in a similar role. The ability to hit the ground running quickly, and to work autonomously, is essential.
