The role
The Financial Controller will take full responsibility for the finance function.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role, managing a team of eight and balancing strong technical capability with the ability to lead, develop and inspire a high-performing international finance team. The role will play a pivotal part in driving change, strengthening controls and processes, and supporting strategic decision-making as the group continues to scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts in line with Group deadlines
- Delivering insightful financial analysis and presenting results to senior leadership
- Preparation of year-end statutory accounts and managing the audit process
- Reviewing, improving and embedding robust financial processes and controls
- Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team across the UK and overseas
- Supporting the implementation of a Group-wide ERP system
- Ownership of annual budgets, long-range planning and forecasting
- Managing working capital, cash flow reporting and treasury activities
- Ensuring compliance with Group policies, regulatory requirements and internal controls

This role will suit a professionally qualified accountant with demonstrable leadership experience in a multi-entity, international environment. You will bring strong technical expertise, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to operate at senior level. Hands-on, adaptable and collaborative in style, you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to shape and evolve a finance function within a fast-growing global business.
