Vero has been engaged exclusively by a leading local service company to recruit a Financial Controller. Our client produces a range of specialist engineering and automation technologies, backed by best in class service and delivered by an experienced team of industry experts.
With a rich history of delivering solutions to the oil and gas industry our client is also targeting a range of green, renewable technology sectors in addition to a variety of non-oil and gas markets.
Working closely with the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will provide a comprehensive financial management service. As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the finance function and finance staff, as well as being part of the senior management team.
You will require sound knowledge of accounting systems along with project management and CRM systems. You will also contribute to commercial business decisions to assist with growth plans as well as being hands-on in all areas of finance.
With one direct report, the Financial Controller will manage an incredibly varied role in this fast paced and dynamic local SME.
Consideration will be given to part, fully, or qualified by experience candidates with relevant experience in a similar role. To be considered you must have experience of leading the finance function of an SME. You will be an accomplished people manager and you will have the ability to build solid relationships across the company, including with engineers.
