Vero has been exclusively appointed by a leading upstream integrated energy company to recruit an ambitious, professionally qualified accountant into the role of Financial Reporting Manager.

The opportunity:
The Group Reporting Manager reports directly to the Group Financial Controller and will support them in delivery of all aspects of the Group’s consolidated internal and external financial reporting and ensuring a robust control environment is maintained. The role is based in Aberdeen and has direct line management responsibility for two team members.
The role will work closely with the business and other areas of finance including operational finance, financial planning, Tax and Treasury and has responsibility for financial reporting, accounting and ensuring compliance with Group controls, policies and procedures.
Who we’re looking to attract:
• Professionally qualified accountant
• Ideally worked for or with a listed company or in a similar role
• Strong IFRS understanding and application (IFRS 9 and 16 desirable)
• Process controls and Group consolidations
• Statutory accounting preparation and filing
