To join a leading international service business, to help shape and develop a high performing finance function, at a critical time in their growth strategy.
The role:
The position of Head of Finance reports to the Managing Director, along with the wider Senior Group Finance Team.
This is a hands on role, overseeing day to day finance, as well as managing a small team based across the UK and Middle East. The successful individual will work alongside a team of experienced finance professionals, each with responsibility for their own entities within the Group.
This represents a first-class, unrivalled opportunity for an experienced accountant to add significant value to a role, acting as a business partner to a range of stakeholders.
Key duties:
• Responsible for overseeing day to day finance
• Management accounts preparation/review for multiple entities
• Month-end reporting into the Group finance function
• Reporting in multiple currencies
• Responsible for a small team across the UK and the Middle East
• Cashflow forecasting
• Annual budget process plus revised forecasting on quarterly basis
• Convey information to MD plus operational team as well as Group finance
• Responsible for day to day management of the audit process during the annual audit cycle
• Liaising with wider Group finance function with regards to banking and VAT
Who are we looking for:
Applicants should have prior experience of working at a senior level in a dynamic and fast paced service company. International and multi-currency experience is highly desired, in particular knowledge of the Middle East.
You must be an autonomous self-starter, with the ability to work cross-function. You will thrive at providing a business partnering service to management team, and you will be adept at communicating complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
