Vero has been appointed exclusively by a successful owner managed business in Aberdeen to recruit an Accounting Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. Applicants must be available to start within the next two weeks and the contract will run until late May.
The Opportunity:
To join a dynamic, forward thinking business where you will enjoy high levels of visibility and responsibility, acting as the finance business partner to management, on an interim basis.
The Role:
The interim Accounting Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary
- Preparation of cashflow forecasts
- Preparation of inputs into year-end accounts and liaison with auditors
- Budgeting and forecasting process
- Produce project cost reports to track actual project expenditure against the project baseline
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Monthly payroll
- Line management of two Assistants
Who are we looking for:
Consideration will be given to part, fully, and qualified by experience applicants. Experience in a similar role gained within an SME is essential.
You will enjoy working autonomously, always providing the highest quality of output.
Target salary is £50k to £55k per annum.
