Interim Accounts Manager - Aberdeen

Vero has been engaged exclusively by a locally owned business to recruit an experienced accountant to cover a period of maternity leave. The position is expected to start later this year for an initial period of four months, although this could be extended.


To be considered you must have previous experience of managing the day to day accounting needs for a busy small to medium sized company. You must also be willing to commit to the duration of the assignment.




The Accounts Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.


Key Responsibilities:


• Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary

• Preparation of cashflow forecasts

• Preparation of inputs into year-end accounts and liaison with auditors

• Budgeting and forecasting process

• Produce project cost reports to track actual project expenditure against the project baseline

• Quarterly VAT returns

• Monthly payroll

• Line management of two Assistants
