The Internal Audit and Risk Function (IA&R) is responsible for the delivery of assurance and risk related services across the Group. IA&R is now looking to develop its Data Analytics functionality which will streamline and enhance the ongoing analysis of current business processes, controls and outcomes.
The opportunity suits an ambitious accountant who has a keen interest in Data Analytics and systems.
The Lead Data Analytics Auditor will take responsibility for the delivery of strategic, commercial and financial projects identified within the annual internal audit plan and support the development of Data Analytics within the function. The position will report to the Group Internal Audit Manager. Travel commitments are expected to be from one to two weeks per quarter.
To be considered, applicants are likely to hold a full accountancy qualification (ICAS/ACCA), although consideration will be given to candidates without this but with relevant experience. You should have experience of data extraction, cleansing and analysis to support business requirements. A keen interest in systems with the ability to interrogate and manipulate data is essential.
