Vero has been appointed by an international fully integrated energy services business to recruit an experienced accountant to cover a period of paternity leave. The interim UK Operations Finance Manager will be able to start during February and the initial contract is expected to last for six months.

The role:
The position will start in mid-February to allow for a thorough handover and is expected to last for six months. Vero recruited the incumbent UK Operations Finance Manager, and he has excelled at delivering exceptional financial stewardship, nurturing the team, and acting as a true finance business partner to the Head of this service line.
With responsibility for leading the finances of one of our client’s most high profile and profitable service lines, the successful individual will manage two people, will help to drive process and procedure efficiencies, and will work closely with the Head of the service line as well as the UK Finance Director, to drive the business unit forward.
Reporting to the Finance Director - UK, the role will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions, risk management, and commercial reviews of relevant UK Business Streams.
