Vero has been appointed by an independent energy business to recruit an experienced Revenue Accountant. This represents a unique opportunity for an experienced accountant with previous upstream experience to take on a challenging and progressive new role.

The role:
The Revenue Accountant will support the Lead Asset Accountant providing revenue accounting support for all JV Assets (operated and non-operated) within the portfolio.
Key activities:
The Revenue Accountant is a newly created role which will play a critical function in our client’s finance team. The successful individual will be responsible for the accurate accounting and reporting for Revenue and Production Accounting.
Providing support to the Lead Asset Accountant with monthly accounting for asset matters is also a key part of the role. In addition, the Revenue Accountant will assist in all project related matters relating to acquisitions, as well as assisting where required with a SAP implementation.
Who are we looking to attract:
• Experience in a similar role within an E&P company is essential
• Experience preparing and issuing invoices as well as calculating revenue
• An understanding of the full mechanics of revenue accounting
• Motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business
