Vero has been appointed be a specialist energy service company in Aberdeen to recruit an experienced accountant into the role of Senior Accountant.

Applicants who are qualified by experience, part qualified, or fully qualified are encouraged to apply, if you can demonstrate extensive management accounting experience. Suits an experienced accountant who is looking for a solid, stable finance role working for a highly experienced Finance Manager.
Our client:
Our client is an independently owned global service company, who provide a range of bespoke engineering solutions to the oil and gas sector. With operations across the globe’s major oil and gas hubs, our client has an enviable track record gained over the past 30 years.
Overview:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation of reports, records and accounts to aid management decision making.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack and ancillary reconciliations
• Assist in preparation of regional finance reports
• Payroll processing
• Preparation of cash flow forecast and cash monitoring
• Completion of all HMRC returns, VAT etc
• Production of annual and interim budgets
• Production of ad-hoc management reports
• Supervision of Accounts Assistant
• Provide general finance support to all members of staff
• Provide cover for Finance Manager as required
• Any other reasonable duties as required
