The role:
The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller and the rest of the Finance team to ensure that reporting deadlines are met and accounting records are accurate.
This is a highly visible role in a truly market leading business. As such, the Senior Accountant will interact regularly with the senior management team across the company, both locally and internationally. The Senior Accountant will be expected to interrogate the numbers to seek meaning, which will then be used by Senior Management to assist in key strategic decision making.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the weekly cashflow forecast, the preparation of monthly packs (as well as analysis), and the preparation of consolidated results. Moreover, the Senior Accountant will assist with the production of budgets and forecasts, as well as leading on both interim and annual audits.
The Senior Accountant will also assist with project work supporting business growth, simplifying and streamlining reporting.

Who are we looking for:
The Senior Accountant should be professionally qualified. The role could suit an ambitious accountant looking to move into a stimulating industry role from practice, or from applicants currently in industry with transferable skills. You will be a self-starter with the ability to problem solve, as well as first class communication skills to build the necessary relationships across the organisation.
