Our client has a clear aim to be recognised as a global leader supporting a range of industries. Reporting into the Group Finance Manager, the Senior Accountant will also enjoy regular interaction with the CFO and other members of the senior management team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the financial management of the International Hubs, monthly consolidated management reporting, and providing an exemplary finance business partnering service to management to assist with key strategic decision making. 


Main tasks:


  • Main finance focal point for the International Hubs, supporting the International Managing Directors operationally as the business grows in the Middle East, USA and Norway
  • Management reporting for International Hubs - engaging with the Regional MDs and the operations team in Aberdeen to ensure revenue and cost are captured in the correct region to accurately prepare the reporting packs for Abu Dhabi, USA and Norway
  • Preparation of the monthly Group consolidation
  • Audit analysis preparation
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and group consolidation
  • Supporting the GFM/CFO to ensure compliance with accounting policies at the year end




  • Preparation of monthly reporting pack for the International Hubs - working closely with both the operational team in Aberdeen and in each of the regions
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for International Hubs
  • Preparing monthly reporting packs for allocated Business Units, reporting revenue, contribution and EBITDA
  • Attend monthly WIP meetings, reviewing/ approving sales invoices
  • Monthly reviews with the MDs of the project margins to ensure accurate reporting in the management accounts
  • Assisting the GFM with management of the annual audit, preparing the analysis for the audit file and being first point of contact during fieldwork
  • Preparation of the statutory financial statements for the group
  • Key financial interface for International Hub MDs
  • Key financial interface for allocated Business Units
  • Assist the Group Finance Manager with continuous improvement and documentation of Financial policies and procedures
