Vero Recruitment has been exclusively appointed by a progressive upstream energy company in Aberdeen to recruit a Senior Corporate Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave. First class opportunity for a technically strong senior finance professional to manage a stimulating role for a minimum of 12 months.

Who are we looking for:
To be considered you will be a professionally qualified accountant with strong technical skills.
You will be adept at managing and nurturing relationships with a range of stakeholders, and you will be a flexible team player with first-class mentoring and nurturing skills.
You should be available to start in July and be willing to commit to a minimum of 12 months.
The role:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the delivery of the Group monthly consolidation and annual statutory accounts for entities in the UK and the Netherlands along with driving process improvements in the underlying ledgers that support the preparation of the disclosures.
The successful individual will also have a key role in delivering the Group Annual Report, related disclosures, Shareholder reporting and will act as one of the main points of contact in the external audit process.
