The role:
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Senior Management Accountant will manage the monthly close process of all Company entities, deliver monthly management reporting for internal purposes and reporting to parent Group, manage monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process and provide support to the Finance Director as and when required.
The newly appointed Finance Director, recruited by Vero, joined the business in 2022 with clear plans; she is restructuring the department, is focussed on building a high calibre, business focussed finance team, and this position is a critical hire.
There is significant scope for the successful individual to help to drive the department forward, including automating tasks, seeking process efficiencies, and developing policies. There is also opportunity to lead and develop a Management Accountant who reports directly into this position, with additional line reports expected in future.
The Senior Management Accountant will deepen the relationship between finance and the wider operational business, with a real opportunity to deliver an exceptional finance business partnering service to management in the long term.
Who are we looking for:
Applicants will ideally be fully qualified, although consideration will be given to candidates who are still studying with the requisite experience. You should have some supervisory/mentoring experience, and a real will to succeed. You will flourish in a fast paced, changeable environment where you will be given the opportunity to add real value to the finance team and the wider business.
